West End

A shady rear courtyard has been created using a mix of hard landscaping with traditional finishes. The car parking areas are cobbled and hard-wearing, whiles the stone flags are aesthetically pleasing and interspersed or enhanced with pebbles and minimal planting. This has created a useful and pleasing space. Build by Cosmetic Gardening and Construction.

This small kids den is hidden away behind large shrubs. It is a dry, secret space accessed through a ‘wildlife’ door which hides the wolves-den mural on the back wall. A timber pergola sits over the den from which kids hanging pods can be attached for sitting in.

A corner site, previously an enclosed front garden, has been transformed into a contemporary garden space and driveway to allow for an electric car parking space and charging point. Planting inspired by the ‘prairie’ style with grasses and perennials punctuates the gravel and cobble areas creating colour and structural interest.
